How do I close an Estate Account?


Webull will require the following documents and details to process an Estate Account:


1. Notarised Copy of Death Certificate


2. Notarised Copy of Grant of Probate/Letter of Administration/Public Trustee

(To be resealed in Singapore Court if issued from overseas)


3. Notarised Copy of Identification Document(s) of Executor(s)/Administrator(s) as listed in the Grant of Probate/Letter of Administration/Public Trustee

- Singpass Digital Copy of NRIC

- Copy of NRIC (Notarisation is required)

- Passport (Notarisation is required)

- Other Legal Identity Documents (Notarisation is required)


4. Proof of Bank Account

- Bank Statement/Passbook/Deposit Slip

(Within 3 months recency)


5. Bank Account Information

- Bank Name

- Bank Account Holder Name

- Bank Account No.

- Bank Region (E.g. Singapore/Malaysia etc.)

- Swift Code

- Intermediary Bank Swift Code (not mandatory)

- Bank Account Type (SGD/USD/HKD/Multi-Currency)

Note:

Notarisation is not required for Documents 1 & 2 if issued by Singapore government agencies and can be verified through the agencies' website.


All documents must be in English. All non-English documents must be translated into English by an official Translator.
